You don’t really need it for anything. Side view mirrors do more than 90% of the job.

They’re moving the brand upmarket. I expect the next 3 to exit the low end of the market.

I love my panoramic sunroof but would always have to close the shade in the summer, so when I got my windows tinted I had them tint the sunroof glass as well. Now I just keep the shade open all the time and I don’t have to worry about excessive heat.

Not just back up cameras. Obstacle detection, automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, etc. When properly equipped, physical blind spots become less of an issue. It’s a matter of advances in technology allowing possibilities in design for aesthetics and aero efficiency.
