It would be an interesting element, considering how many cars that have sunroofs and the owner never actually opens it. I’ve had several and it was rare that actually opened it, unless it was to move back the sunshade to let more light inside.

It’s suppose to share the new Civic platform that will also be used for the next Accord. If they are making the new lineup lineup AWD only models, that should help distinguish them from the standard Honda line.
