That's only 0.003 of the total Covid deaths, so not really a big deal.

Klobuchar zinged Trump pretty good with the "hair in a blizzard" jab, so I'm optimistic that she'll be able to deliver some good body blows during the campaign. My concern is that she won't be as appealing to the Midwestern rubes as people think.
Isn't the case moot now? Also, despite appearances, I knew she had a male voice. It's jarring and weird, but shouldn't be grounds for employment discrimination.
Rush does deserve that medal, though. It had the Trump theatrics, but still deserved. Who is the liberal/Democrat equivalent? I can't think of a single person with that influence.
Compared to the current field, Hillary would be the instant front-runner if she got in the race. I've always thought she would, just waiting for the right time. The media loves narratives, and what better than "redemption, rematch, revenge?"
You seem to be disregarding the fact that Bernie had 3 doctors attest to his physical fitness. Is 78 suddenly too old? What if we replaced age and said so and so is too black, or too Asian, or too effeminate?
Maybe she should have thought about this before colluding with Russian operatives. Her WikiLeaks are largely the cause of this horrific reality we are all suffering.
Are the Democrats really this tone-deaf? Jesus fuck. If this ever makes it through the House, the turtle is going to bat this around like a ball of yarn.
Why wouldn't she keep her options open? The way this thing is going, people are going to start hitting the panic button come early springtime. I think there are better than even odds that this thing is headed to a contested convention. As the most qualified person to ever run for president, wouldn't HRC be a great…
I’m guessing Trump does his own makeup, same as he does his own hair. I’ve thought he looked better earlier in his term when he let the hairdye fade and it was white-ish. Looked very distinguished and presidential. The yellow/orange hair is just weird looking, especially the wet parts that he slicks behind his ears.
Oh great, so since Splinter closed, they moved all the liberals to the sports department. Please respect the separation of sports and politics.
Does being eye candy for “PointsBet Sportsbook" qualify as being a sports reporter though? Seems a bit of a stretch.
So how long will it be before the company line is: “Yes, there was a quid pro quo, and doing so is actually very patriotic. You can't impeach a president for making perfectly fine phonecalls."
Who among the field would make a good VP pick for Hillary? I'm thinking Pete, but maybe Julian.
It would seem the best course of action would be for Warren and Sanders to encourage their supporters to coalesce around Biden, and focus their ideological efforts at ensuring an actual leftist is the VP on the ticket. Unfortunately, Biden is the only one with a chance in hell of flipping the rust belt back. If that…
I thought Warren was very disrespectful towards Biden. He even went out of his way to compliment her on doing a good job. At the end of the day, I think we can all agree that Biden has cemented his frontrunner status. At some point, Warren will need to endorse him, so I hope she keeps that sass to a minimum.
I've never understood the purpose of pointing out white privilege. As a white person, it's been pretty great being white. Reminding white people how great they have it and the privileges that come with it would seem to encourage us to keep it that way.
I think it's time to acknowledge that his campaign is over, officially or not. If Bernie wants to do the right thing, he would drop out and throw his support to Biden. It would unify the party, and Joe needs the boost right now.
It was just a matter of time. I think Trump is going to be much more formidable than the Dems will admit. A powerful narrative is needed, and it has to be more than just “not Trump.” Hillary provides the comeback, revenge, redemption, or whatever. What greater emasculation for Trump than to lose to her?
I've been wondering how long it would take for Democrats to realize there's not a single declared candidate that has a prayer of winning. I'm convinced Hillary is getting back in the game, and probably is the strongest candidate, but I suspect there's a few top tier candidates that are as yet undeclared.
