So…wait…these two black guys DO look the same, so…wait…goddammit, this is a trick isn't it?

"Clintonite liberals"

That area in the Indian ocean that the World Engine was working on WAS littered with kryptonite. They found small pieces but didn't find the "whale" until a few months before the movie started.

I was speaking more to Man of Steel but he saves a few people in Batman v Superman as well (including, ironically, Lex Luthor). I was annoyed that the theatrical cut removed the footage of him saving people after the capitol bombing that is in the ultimate edition, though.

It was the purpose for dramatic tension as it is about to crush Jenny and Perry White but Supeman smashes the machine just in time.

No, because you know he wasn't. It was just a fun joke.

"Wonder Women was entertaining but its not in the same league as the best Marvel movies."

I'm not sure if you've ever read Superman For All Seasons, but it too shows that when Clark begins to doubt himself (in that case, after he fails to save a woman from being killed by Lex Luthor's virus) he falls back on his parents for emotional support, which is why he talks to his mother or in the case of his trip

Oof, I hated watching that video of Jontron "debating" that other guy. Sickening. If I never find out the personal beliefs of another entertainer whose work I enjoy I'll be quite happy.

rolls eyes

He saves lots of people in the new movies but it seems to be glossed over.

It would be its own continuity if it were ever made. But as Vogt-Roberts already clarified, he pitched it to WB one time, it's not something that seems like WB is actively thinking about making.

I'm thinking Rocky VIII.

The Batman Vampire books were real cool, that's all I can say.

Knightmare Batman isn't precisely the same (he doesn't wear a hat, but he does wear a duster) but yes, he was inspired by the Batman from Red Son in a sort of general sense.

"I don't trust WB to be able to do anything with that"

Odd, I read it about three years ago and thought it was pretty good.

I believe there was a major contradiction with the two Donner movies that actually made it a separate continuity from them, but I can't remember what it was off the top of my head. So it technically wasn't in the Donner continuity despite trying to have the same feel in an updated film.

Is this where we repeat internet memes?

It's the least pointlessly edgy comic he's written, and it still has Batman committing suicide with a bomb vest.
