Yeah I dont know what ecosystem you are in but once Apple gets more into the cloud (which is the way they are going) try out using their online interfaces. I LOVE this for google. I can add contacts, music, apps and such all while on a big computer with a big screen and stuff just pushes to my phone.

I got bored but all I really gathered is the author is pathetic.

That is one reason I go to the android market online, has more detail.

NEGATIVE 4 STARS< DOESNT RUN ON PHONE YOU SAID DOESNT RUN ON IN DESCRIPTION BECAUSE OF CARRIER RESTRICTION!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like a reference to a "broker's" reuse of the tracking information, not simply patenting the function of a tracking system. This makes it sound like they are patenting being a 3rd party. Where UPS would ship, Google would obtain the number and use something like google maps to figure out the where and when.

My company did right by me, so why was union trash throwing shit through our windows?

Um, the fact that there is an article makes no sense, one sentence sums it up:

What if you wanted the app closed but still working, like utorrent? I cant relate to OSX but often in windows custom or 3rd party apps I have windows and interfaces but can be completely closed and the run in the background only existing interface wise in the system tray.

Im thinking that is what is causing the problem (your last part) non-service type apps that you would want to be closed but run in the background getting updates and such. Like the example posted about the App Store checking for updates.

You went to Apple for more control? That has never been their thing, they have always had the system setup more like an appliance than a computer.

Unemployment is at 9% using optimistic numbers and probably more like 16% if you count in those who gave up and the underemployed. Verizon could probably find a few people willing to work for them.

Unfortunately the union breeds this herd, us versus them mentality. Its extremely rare that the unions dont have an adversarial relationship with management. Typically to a negative case. And its not like the union does anything to change this. If they didnt then it becomes harder and harder to sell their case.

Seems par for the course for unions. In high school I worked for a non-union communications contractor and we had constant issues. From things like cutting cables in ongoing projects to throwing large nuts (metal ones that go on bolts) through all of the personal vehicles of employees parked at our offices and on

At which point they would have been participating in collusion to create barriers to entry....

Not killing their sales but someone finally found a way to differentiate themselves (at least until apple sues for an injunction for it running on electricity):

No, they are whining about collusion by multiple competitors in the same market, which can be found very illegal. Its not the patents themselves, its that all of the other large players got together to outbid google.

But its definitely "inspired by." And I agree they have a patent but the patent should be invalid. Literally look at the common use document, it doesnt even look 10% like the ipad, its actually even setup to be landscape.

Yeah, but I clicked reply on the right comment, I saw that it got attached to that but dont see an undo option.

Where in your quoted section did they even claim it was hacking?

Because all of your friends are doing it and there is safety in numbers. Its pretty much why everyone riots/loots.
