There's a thin line there.

It’s a bit more than conditioning. Those players LIKED the women that way and any suggestion for changing that triggered their outrage. The devs ultimately were putting their collective sexual fantasies on screen, and building a sense of community around that.

I’m sure those Redditors also considered you to be the unreasonable one because you actually had concrete standards for Street’s behaviour.

You would hope that would be a lesson learned, especially after Gamergate, but nope.

I can see him being an ancap, if he actually puts any thought to that sort of shit. His MO certainly fits.

Easy.

Amy support for Palestine is framed as anti-Semitic by powerful groups in both parties. That’s why you only ever get wishy-washy both sides rhetoric from Dems on this issue at the best. Since younger progressives are pushing back against that, they're being branded anti-Semitic, because that's an easy way of getting

The usual crowd is right at it; their hatred for young progressives is something else.

Years later, I know, but I needed to see what Kingdom Come’s developers were like before maybe buying their game. What I see is a bruised ego with a narrow perspective who throws around words like censorship and totalitarianism without knowing their meaning, or worse, not caring.

Thank you so much for this post. I'm so sorry you haven't received the justice you deserve.

Stupidity and paranoia are a dangerous combo.

1 Chris at most. And we all know which one.

I think he means when she wanted to play the role of a trans man.

Hell yes. Just reading the accusation was upsetting.

Or take no-one’s side at all.

Then bar them from society. To allow ‘personal choice’ to override the public good here makes no sense.

That’s all lovely. Among MY principles is the notion that there are no absolute standards, so I categorically reject the notion of ‘this is bad, no exceptions’. I certainly believe I’m in the right when I reject false equivalences in terms of ‘bad behaviour’ and that peculiar fear of ‘being just as bad as the people

I disagree with all of that...except Sera. I hate her with a burning passion.

Same. That and Patricia coming back are the only things binding me here now.

Reading that made me seriously upset. Just...evil really.
