They’ll always have excuses. Piracy, for AAA games, affects nothing. It’s just a convenient excuse. And who’s gonna check to see if it actually was pirated at a rate that affected sales (it never does) if Ubisoft claims that’s why the game failed? Very few.

This. I’ve boycotted Ubisoft. Hurts a little, because I love Assassin’s Creed, but I’m not giving what little money I have towards people like these.

Not really. Some were ‘let go’, some ‘left to pursue other opportunities’, etc. and the big names received massive severance packages. I am unsure if the ones who were also board members retained their stock.

I feel like you know, but I very much doubt that guy is arguing in good faith. The absurdity of 'I don't see colour' has been pretty firmly exposed by now, and only actual racists still cling on to it.
