That's the status quo for any growth-based economic system. Its by design. It's not like Kotick will hurt if Activision goes down.

EA didn't mandate GaAS for Anthem. Bioware did that themselves. Anthem is almost entirely on Bioware.

Edgy

As a rule of thumb, anyone who falls back on ‘every motivation is selfish’ as if that’s a rhetorical trump card, is not worth paying attention to.

This is some impressive nonsense. Truly. I haven’t seen such wide range of whataboutisms in a good while.

It's not an either or scenario.

This. I never turn my camera on unless specifically asked to, and even then I turn it off when I'm not speaking or being spoken to.

Just what it comes across as. It’s already happening, so what’s one more thing.

‘Any’ reason is far too wide a mark for me. I understand your framing is necessarily juxtaposed against anti-choice rhetoric, so it’s taken on certain dimensions, but objectively, ‘any reason’ would be an absurd metric for abortion. If that means I’m not REALLY pro-choice, so be it.

Depends on the opinion.

So...we shouldn't care about mitigating further damage?

Obviously, you’re actually in the thick of things, so to speak, and I have no intention of second-guessing your stance here.

Well, to answer your questions, my responses would be, Yes, Yes, Yes, No and Not something you can legislate.

Honest question you have no reason to answer if you'd rather not: Can one then be pro-choice and anti-abortion?

I would think pro-choice adequately covers 'supporting the right to choose whether or not to abort'.

Oh, I know. As a party, Dems are center-right and still somehow more terrified of the left than they are of the far right. They'd rather cripple themselves than allow the party to meaningfully shift left.

Lol

Shouldn't Cooper be dead? It's been a couple centuries since TF2.

The 2nd Amendment really is a cancer in the heart of America.

Irreversible climate change might destroy human civilization, but gotta have my charred meat, dammit!
