But as he likely preached to anyone that would listen, all that is done in the dark will someday be brought to the light, and that light now shines on Zacharias’s multiple assaults

The rightwing tack is entirely plausible.
While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon. I am more focused on raising my family and surviving the pandemic, so I will not be making any further statements at this time. But I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them…
that is awesome. I was worried that the car was a three-wheeler, but nope! four wheels! I would absolutely drive this around my San Francisco neighborhood. (never on the freeway; probably never above 25 MPH.)
“We did have tragedies and we did have losses, but we also got through it better than virtually every other state,” she said.
The detention letter linked to at the beginning of the Jezebel article starts with: “The United States of America, by and through its attorney, the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, respectfully files this memorandum in support of pre-trial detention.” Sounds like he’s in custody. But I am a…
As a Californian I’d like them to bring back the Long Beach Grand Prix.
I think it is supremely representative of America in the 21st century that the evangelical movement trades on the license inherent in “I’m not perfect, just forgiven”. Somehow they have traversed the same course that Protestants in pre-revolutionary Europe did, where being ‘elect’ essentially enabled them to do as…
ugh, Kinja being weird with URLs. here’s the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Madrid_Seismic_Zone
I detest that couple as much as anyone else here, but for what it’s worth, there is a seismic risk based in southern Missouri.

God grant me the confidence of a SpaceX engineer
Sure, understood. And I guess BMW managed to solve this problem for the i3.
Sure, I acknowledge that different rates of thermal expansion and contraction with different materials is a real phenomenon. So I guess what Musk is saying is that BMW has succeeded in solving this problem, whereas Tesla has not succeeded, or has chosen not to attempt to solve it.
Munro mentions his company’s BMW i3 findings, lauding the German automaker’s excellent build quality for the carbon-fiber body. Musk replies that one of his major concerns about use of carbon fiber is that it has a vastly different coefficient of thermal expansion than aluminum or steel, and this can cause fit issues.
If I was living in Russia I would absolutely want to sign up for Starlink. I have no idea how this works - would I have to install some sort of dish at my residence, like DirectTV or something? Is that the only way I could get busted? (I suppose I also shouldn’t browse to any Russian website while surfing via Starlink…
Dill relish is God’s gift to hot dogs. (Californian here, I also put ketchup and mustard on hot dogs)
Your recipe sounds great, and I’d even be open to the apple which has never even crossed my mind in the past - but I cannot countenance sweet relish. I love dill pickles, and I love to chop em up and add em to my tuna sammies.
Yes, we should get rid of the Senate. If we must retain a bicameral legislature, we should just establish new districts so that one person = 1 vote in elections for the hundred senators. The Senate is one of the most undemocratic aspects of our constitution (right up there with the electoral college).
