I remember reading comics with ads for the upcoming super-crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths", hence Pre-New 52 being referred to as "old school" being a little disheartening ;)

Someone just called Pre-New 52 "old school". You'll have to excuse me, I need to start researching nursing homes now :(

I only know them from when the New Gods would show up in Superman comics, so that could be entirely true. Boom Tubes just usually appeared out of nowhere in Superman, and always had Darkseid on the other end by way of explanation for where it came from.

No, no, the phrase is "goose-stepper". I can see how you could make that mistake though!

Or bronies.

MOUNT GREEN MOUNTAIN!

Where's the Phantom when we need him? He always knew how to slam evil!

"Zorak, you're always trying to get my goat."
