It's more like foster care. Back in the 1930s here in the USA my father-in-law was placed in an orphanage/foster home after his father was killed in an accident and his mother couldn't afford to support him. He went back to live with her several times but usually wound up back in the orphanage. He stayed there until

Not always, no. It's a lot more complicated than that. Even placing a kid in an orphanage doesn't necessarily mean terminating your parental rights.

This is exactly the situation with *both* of the kids Madonna adopted. Each had family that were struggling financially, and Madonna swept in and took them away. Disgusting.

There's a long history of orphanages taking children whose parents cannot afford to care for them (I'm aware of this happening in Korea but am sure it happens elsewhere too). Unfortunately, this does mean that kids with parents who love them get adopted and shipped halfway across the world. Terrible.

She's just not that into you, Kim.

She could teach the women on The View a thing or.two. She didn't comment on anything she didn't have to. She's a smart woman.

I go down to the creek and watch the bridge rust.

Let's grab some lawn chairs and watch cars go by while we do the heroin.

This. I love Raven and I dreaded clicking on this, thinking I might see her defending him. She only tells the truth of how he treated her personally and asks to be left out of the rest. Good on her.

You clearly did it in between me opening this page, writing the comment, finding the image and posting. I am apologies.

I am disappoint that you didn't see this was already corrected AND I addressed it in a previous comment. Thank you for the map tho. It is pretty.

How about we get the city to limit traffic to LOCAL USE ONLY on residential streets, and FORCE cars to use the crowded arteries designed for them. My neighborhood is clotted with these speed bumps (which plow the front of my car into the ground because they're too tall), roundabouts and other impediments to us LOCALS

No shit, but residential streets aren't designed to handle freeway-levels of traffic. I'd be pissed if Waze was doing this to my street, and you would be, too.

To be fair, this is what happens when you socialize an function. The residents aren't reporting fake collisions to police, they're playing the system to avoid extra traffic running down their side streets. Nothing's actually preventing this traffic from rolling through, they're just stopping Waze from encouraging

you sound like an apartment dweller.

But it's MY STREET!

I fear it would be the end of most human conversations,

Every episode of The View is an excellent representation of the old adage, If you don't have something smart to say, shut the fuck up. — There, fixed that for you.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!! I'm white!!! Am I under attack????

Always warms my heart to see anon going after people who actually deserve it. Willing to bet some of the people involved with the case are related to the doxxed clansmen.
