It's true, this child is not of this world. I can't help but wonder if Eden Wood is some kind of cosmic joke conjured up by John Waters.

My boyfriend and I sing this version ALL THE TIME. In the car, in the supermarket, cooking dinner, oh my god. "Cuuuutie, cutie patoooooootie..."
Absolutely, my own 23 day long period of 2006 was totally real too!
Yes, I second that Hoarders/Clean House comparison! I watched a couple episodes of each on a lazy Netflix Streaming night and found the similarities uncanny.
A bit off topic, but my dad used to do this with potato bugs found in the garden. He'd stick them in old jars, punch holes into the lids, and leave it on our dressers.
Reading your post just made me laugh out loud! I recall lots of Jack London at bedtime too, now...
WATERWORKS. My dad used to read to me and my sister at bedtime when we were little (6 and 3 yrs. old, respectively) and always picked the scariest, and generally least appropriate reading material: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (drawing out the tortuously suspenseful Injun Joe chases and subsequent lost in the caves…
I did the same! It was weird!
I don't think any sunscreen can claim to totally block out all sun. If you're wearing sunscreen on a daily basis and you tan too, I wouldn't worry too much. Actually burning the skin is what causes the real harm.
Oh my god, that's horrible. Learning about that kind of thing makes my blood boil.

Stop stop STOP!! Live maggots???!! That is terrible.
Thank you.
I'm not offended either; my friends and I call each other mija on occasion too.
Any recommendations for historical texts that deal with the Spanish/Portuguese line? My interest is piqued!
Arabs are Caucasian, according to the US Census. I would imagine that would hold true here too. The South Asian question, though, has me stumped!
Oh, good! That sounds much more reasonable :)
I don't have any insurance recommendations (can't afford any right now), but I just wanted to say: Your vet charging you $66 to pull out a tick is HEINOUS! When I read that, I actually gasped out loud. That is just so wrong.
HA! The very thought has made my lunch hour, thank you!
