i assisted a local professional mural artist for about a year. she pretty much ONLY uses "oops" paints.

@kardain: i printed it out and taped it next to my parents' computer. whenever mom calls me with "tech support" issues, i just say "consult the chart." over, and over, and over.

@djlaser: that would put the diagonal dimension pretty close to 300mm.

@callmejack: technically, the only things that affect DOF are focal length, aperture, and subject distance.

@notherdude: wow. none of you guys can take a joke.

@xsbs: true. RGB are the additive primaries, what make up light. CMY are the subtractive — the inverse of RGB.

@xsbs: and when talking about photography, at least modern digital photography, they are red, GREEN, and blue.

@bucho54: and very few good replicas as far as look.

@Cheznor: oh, i know. i posted basically the above before i saw your comment. i had missed it skimming the comments.

@MJrolla07: speaking as a complete vinyl nerd, i assure you that vinyl DOES NOT have the highest sound quality available. CD is easily the inherently superior format, and there's stuff above that, too.

@Damien Lavizzo: or, you can be smart, buy a good turntable that doesn't sound like crap, and listen to your records. and, you know, plug it into your computer's sound card if you want to record from it. usb turntables are all gimmick.

@Cheznor: yes, but, "TRICERATOPS IS A LIE!" is the catchier headline.

ahem. torosaurus was discovered in 1891. triceratops in 1887. if horner and scannella are correct and the two are synonymous, the name torosaurus goes away. and triceratops sticks.

...or, get a webcam. same thing.

there's like 3 sci-fi films i want to see in the theatres right now.
