I was hoping to see a tractor autocross video.

Didn’t think I’d read a story about Elizabeth Warren protecting private property today...2019 continues to surprise me

That’s kinda what I found when I was searching for my 335 in a manual. The prices were a little higher if you wanted the manual and they were few and far between so the dealers knew when you turned up from out of state that you were searching for it. Luckily I ended up finding one in the next town over with the sport

I feel like anyone selling a Cayenne, Touareg, or x5 manual would probably have a similar story. I didn’t list mine as a benefit, I just figured that the right people would find it knowing what it was. The guy who ended up buying mine was a really nice guy who was actually pretty stoked about it. But just like you he

I wanted to CP this... I really did. Why would anyone want this car? I don’t know.

then I did research on it, and found that worse examples are listed higher. It seems pretty clear that what you see here IS worth it to someone... I just don’t know who that someone is... sure as heck isn’t me.

For 10k, I’m not buying...

It’s way too much for a normal person to pay for a fancy LeBaron, but to an eccentric collector of modest means, it is a reasonable ask. It’s a Nice Price, but he’ll probably have to wait a while for the right buyer to find him.

Gah, tough one. It’s such a hilarious novelty of a car that I have to kind of love it. It’s kind like a shitty B-movie that becomes a cult classic. But cult classics always have limited value. $15k is absurd, but I think $10k for really well preserved version isn’t completely absurd.

I really like this car.  Low miles, nice trans, hard top, good interior?  Yes, please.  Of course, I wouldn’t likely keep it stock. NP.

If this is what you want, this seems to be a fine example. And with the manual. Looks like a fair price. NP for a very particular buyer. I’d rather have an Allante.

Actually: 60% of the effort is getting it out and putting it back away. But39% of the effort is figuring out where it’s kinking up this time as you make your way around the vehicle.

Yes, but have you ever cleaned the bed of your truck in the driveay of your $800,000 home in a gated community on the nice side of town? Using something so pedestrian as a hose and a bcket would come off making you look like a poor.

Exactly. Anyone who has ever used a hose before knows that 99% of the effort involves getting it out and putting it away.

As someone who occasionally hoses out the bed of their truck (a Tacoma even), I feel confident in saying that it’ll take longer to hook the hose up to this thing than it does to do it the old fashioned way.

It’s cool that they are still developing stuff for the Chevy S-10.

Maaaaaan, I totally would have give you 3/4 of blue book value AND I would have enjoyed the shit out of that manual.

Oh, absolutely.  Cars don’t have feelings - I am not going to act like they do.  I’m just curious as to why someone wants to simply collect really expensive things to look at.

Otto? Jalopniks would normally prefer Manuel, no?

Jason,

Well now its an oyster fork.

“Daddy. Daddy, you have to tell me. Which wheels make this car go? These? or these, like a real Maserati?”
