On the contrary, traditional automatics are being totally phased out in sports cars which is good to hear. I think a dual clutch is much more similar to a manual than an automatic.

I don’t understand the point of a manual if you have DCT... The DCT is like an auto/manual hybrid with all the benefits of both. No torque converter or disconnect between the engine and the wheels beats the auto, and quicker more efficient shifts beats the stick.
