There’s a book that was just published they were talking about yesterday on the news, talking about this very topic from a college professor. The book is called “The College Dilemma: The Lies We Tell Our Children and the Truth We Hide”. I ordered it but didn’t get a chance to read it yet. Sounds interesting though.

Here’s the concern I have with your suggestions:

Most rich people I know drive $15-20k cars and have 3-4 year old cell phones that cost $100-200.
