I will give you a star for your star, good person

My other favorite myth was that Macs don’t crash.

So...how does that work if you use your account on a mobile device and travel, thus having different IPs from different states log in, probably at the same time? If I’m off on a work trip and wanna watch a Star Wars, and my kiddo is at home watching School House Rock on his profile, are we going to get dinged?

Maybe this my “old man” moment, but I watched most of the “Gen V” episodes over the past two days and the ads weren’t that intrusive on Prime as they are on Hulu, nor as bad as how ads were on cable television. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the early days of watching movies on basic cable where you were interupted

Let’s talk about the directional lines at Costco’s and Sam’s:

So, people smarter in automobile stuff, why is something like not standard on, let’s say, my new 2024 Highlander XSE? Seems like a better option than the little jack Toyota gives you.

I mean, considering the time frame it is set in, I can see some nationalism to seep in, but I’m not sure where the rest of your criticisms are coming from.  On the surface it’s a great monster movie, but there’s a really good story about survivor’s guilt that’s the bulk of the story.

What was terrible about it?

Not defending everything from Legends, just stating that the “Undead” was established as being a thing

Kinda weird people get so hung up on the zombie troopers when zombie/undead have been established in Star Wars as far back as the legends continuity. Also, if there can be force ghosts in Star Wars, surely zombies aren’t that far fetched...

To be fair, the Sith Eternal weren’t trying to be found/rescued....

My favorite chapter was the one from the POV of the dog.  Has me in tears each time I read it.

This hasn’t been rolled out to everyone yet.  I can still see headlines.

Can we get past the whole “Bing is a joke” thing? It’s a pretty viable alternative to Google, and for the most part brings up about the same amount of results (and close to the same ones I expect) that Google search brings up.

Are they using concurrent streams (and IPs) to determine household size?  Just wondering how it is managed by them, since it is possible that I allow my kids to use the same account while they are in college or if we’re on the road and connecting to D+ via hotel wifi or over VPN.

Kind of depends on the Buc-ee’s you goto.  The one in Melissa, TX is pretty decent to get in and out of, and usually as quite a few pumps open at any time, but there are some that are nightmare fuel (pun intended)

I think this award is mainly for those people who complain (with good reason) that none of the movies that get nominated for best picture are ones they have seen.

The only real shame of the Force Unleashed Franchise is that they never completed the story.  From what I recall, the second one ended with Starkiller capturing Vader and taking him off for a trial.  I mean, we all know that Vader doesn’t stand trial, but we got to get somekind of closure for that story.

With as much that is out there about Ahsoka, especially with many video essays on YouTube to help people catch up on who she is and the state of the galaxy at the start of the show, why are we worrying about how people who don’t know the character are going to react to being dropped in the middle of the story?

My God, the way people complain about these honestly minor continuity changes makes me think they never read comics during the late 80s/early 90s....
