One of mine has to be Home Improvement, too. Everytime they mentioned something Detroit (or metro-Detroit) specific, I was always thrilled. And my dad went to college with* Tim Allen!

So basically, it's okay to be disrespectful and bigoted because it makes the other side uncomfortable? Bullshit.

You absolutely should.

What I hear when I hear the words "Dinesh D'Souza"

Now don't get me wrong, I fucking despise Ann Coulter and all that she is, does, and stands for. But besides just being a lazy "joke," I also hate all the 'Ann Coulter is a man!' bullshit. Because it always seems to imply one or more of the following:

I know this is a joke but holy shit, as someone who spent a few years as a public school teacher, this sent fucking chills down my spine.

My love for Sheriff Stilinski knows no bounds. "Have you been time travelling?"

I won't lie, even if it's totally stupid, I kind of loved the vault development. It explains a few things!

The fight was so good it made a man out of him.

Parrish is definitely something. He was 'drawn' to Beacon Hills, after all. I hope he isn't evil, though, I like him!

He left to go work for Vox. Friday was his last day with AV, but he had a few things written before he left so his byline will be around occasionally for another month or so.

I was wondering if she is going to die in a church and be buried along with her name, myself.

YAY!

It isn't all I have. That's why I said it's "part" of the enjoyment. Sorry I'm enjoying art differently than you do.

I like having that initial reaction, though. It's part of the enjoyment for me.

I think that's absolutely fair.

Being blown away because it's well done and honestly shocking isn't the same thing as being blown away just because something is well done. I'm not saying that reading the wikipedia article is the same as experiencing the art itself, but for me, at least, the emotional response I have to something honestly shocking

Sometimes people enjoy fun twist endings. Like I said above, not everything has to be a masterpiece.

No, it would be a different experience for me because I already know the ending. If I already knew the ending the first time, I wouldn't ever get the chance to experience the surprise/twist/whatever for myself. You can appreciate the nuances of performance and the beauty of the cinematography whether it's the first

I can do that the second time I watch it.
