This issue genuinely helped me process the events in a way nothing else got through to my teenaged brain.

I came here to mention Jimmy Eat World and especially “The Middle,” which feels like it was e v e r y w h e r e in the fall of 2001. Weird, it’s almost like everyone needed to hear that “everything everything will be all right”

“Bob Dole thinks he’s a doofus” from the cheese commercial was in regular rotation in my house growing up.

Before you ever post anything anywhere online, consider: Half a decade from now, when you’re cast in a Marvel movie, will this be the post that gives your poor beleaguered publicist a migraine?

This is also my answer, for those exact reasons. If any movie on earth makes me feel patriotic, it’s this one.

Also, her first lines in the show were an apology to Wanda for not coming over sooner. “My mother-in-law was in town, so I wasn’t!”

I think tension between the returnees and those left behind can make for some great drama and I’m hoping there is more of it going forward in the MCU. It’s just the active language (like they chose to leave) that pinged me!

This feels a bit like blaming violent video games for real world violence, instead of realizing that already violent people can be drawn to violent video games. There might be a few specific things that were inspired, but the bones were already there.

No, but there are probably plenty of West Wing fans who would give money to a cause which encourages other people to go out and vote.

There was a tv series with the exact same premise. It was called High & Mighty and Carlos Lopez Estrada directed it. It was .... not good.

Please stop making things about serial killers.

I love Sufjan but “disappointed and weary” hits way too close to where I’m living right now. I may have to sit this one out awhile.

I know I watched at least one episode of this show when it was on, because I was about 14 when it premiered and lived close enough to Grosse Pointe (but decidedly not IN Grosse Pointe). I was always fascinated to see things near me onscreen (I also watched Home Improvement for years, I was a child, please do not

Best Rock nominees are blink-182, Coldplay, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and The Killers? Am I in high school again??
