[ENORMOUS EYEROLL EMOJI]
She can currently be seen as Kristy’s mom on The Baby-Sitter’s Club. I know.
It’s understandable, because 10 things is fantastic. Clueless is delightful, but “You’re Just Too Good To Be True” is the greatest scene in the history of cinema.
It’s truly one of my favorite moments in the film.
This movie has one of my favorite post-credits tags (and yes, I mean post-credits, not mid-credits). It’s so small but so delightful.
My sister was 4 when this movie came out and to this day blames it for her packrat tendencies. She never wanted to hurt anything’s feelings.
In 1996, this was the coolest thing I had ever seen:
He also plays a part in the greatest Twitter story I’ve ever read:
I came here to say the same thing. I have some major issues with that part of the storyline, Heist episode or not.
Two years ago at Sundance, I saw the short film The Climb is based on, and I loved it. I couldn’t figure out how they were going to make an entire film of it, though. I’m sad I missed it this time around!
I’d also like to see Gina Carano pop up on the Cassian Andor prequel series, doing sketchy Rebellion stuff.
False dichotomy. Both can be true!
I’ve paid basically zero attention to Rosie this season, but between the rabbits line (and especially Noel’s genuine reaction) and the custard mishap, I suddenly want her to win.
Yes, exactly! ScarJo has countless more opportunities available to her than are available to non-white or non-cis performers; until we start regularly seeing trans performers playing cis roles and non-white performers regularly winning everyman-type lead roles, I can’t be on ScarJo’s side with this even if, in theory,…
Once we’ve gotten to a point where Trans performers can play Cis roles and where performers of color are regularly cast in lead everyman roles with the same or more frequency than their white counterparts, then we can talk about ScarJo getting the parts she wants to play instead of talking about her taking…
Can we reboot it and just recast David? And maybe Michelle? Who do I write to about this pipe dream...
It’s my favorite scene in the movie. The worldbuilding is really what sets this film above, and the character motivations are crisply clear and understandable here, even when they are at odds. It’s so good.
Him standing on the wrong side of the tv is perfect.
I also love when he jumps in on the arms deal to save Donald Glover. “If you’re gonna shoot someone, shoot me!” What a brave guy!
I think that might be my favorite scene in the entire MCU.
