Isn't Todd's whole point that plot points are only a small part of the discussion to be had about a film or television show? Yes, it's the part that people get most upset about getting spoiled over (though I prefer not to know about a character's arc in advance either) but there's still plenty to talk about.

Who says you can't do those things? All people ask is to know whether you're going to discuss major plot points so they can opt for themselves not to participate in the discussion.

Does it offend you somehow that people want to experience art in their own ways, and that those ways may not be the same way you do?

It's not like every piece of art has to be a masterpiece, guys. Sometimes people enjoy mysteries and thrillers with twist endings for just what they are, and yes, sometimes those mysteries and thrillers are ruined for knowing the ending. You can't play detective along with the characters if you already know who the

Guys, lets share Todd spoiler stories! One time, Todd yelled at me for not wanting to read an article because of possible spoilers!

The thing about spoilers is, you can't go back and have a spoiler-free experience watching something. Ever. You can go back and admire the craft, enjoy the acting, study for foreshadowing, or whatever you want to do the second or third or fourth time, but you can't go back and *un*know the plot, or certain plot

Going to concerts and running into my students. I went to a rather famous Milwaukee-area music festival a few years ago and ran into at least seven different groups of high schoolers from the school where I taught. HELL.

We'll miss you, Todd.

It's got to be one of the faster growing fast food chains in the country, doesn't it? At least by percentage growth, if not by sheer number of stores.

I was so damn confused about 'butterburgers' and their appeal when I first moved to SE Wisconsin.

Apocalypse is too strong a word for what this world is going through, though. In the book, at least, a lot of people just try to go back about their normal lives. Individuals and groups of people have their foundations shaken, others go through some shifting but revert back to their means.

MOCKINGJAY SPOILERS

I love discussing Teen Wolf, but even my love of this show will not bring me to reddit. Sorry.

Also, can we talk about how fucking creepy it is that Kate (somehow?) regressed Derek back to the age he was when she initially seduced him (just before murdering his family)? Because that's really fucking creepy.

I can understand Scott thinking the trip down to Mexico was a good idea. He likes to believe the best about people, and that everything will work out well. Kira following Scott's lead…sure, I could see that too. Malia probably didn't care much one way or the other.

I find Kira really charming.
