Although if you read the article, he wasn't "forced into counseling" like he has to have therapy, "counseling" is what they call a disciplinary measure that isn't an official reprimand (that he can fight), but could (potentially, allegedly) be used against him in a future termination case.

I may be wrong, but i think it was a "disciplinary counseling" which is a fancy word meaning your boss tells you what you did wrong and then yells at you, not like, therapy.
