Frankly, I hope they find a way to do it. I have two reasons for this: first, convertibles are badass, and second, with no droptop or powertrain updates in the pipeline, it's hard to see sales for the FR-S and BRZ staying consistent and strong as they've been.

Was the battery dead? I wouldn't be too surprised by a car battery going flat these days after a week of sitting, especially if it had been driving short distances a bunch beforehand.

Honestly? No not at all. The 228i has the same engine a the 328i, which is 240 hp and just shy of 260 ft-lb. Yet they've been shown to regularly get those numbers AT THE WHEELS.

Don't worry they'll do a 2-series gran coupe eventually.... ick.

I am so happy that the roofline is flat and cuts off quickly at the back. Like you said it means the rear seat is actually usable. As some one who took a road trip in a G35 Coupe with 4 people, for such a large heavy car, there is zero headroom in the back. I'm 5'9" and my head touched the glass unless I slouched to a

After seeing people comparing the GTI to the Golf R, I think I'd rather they just give us a Polo GTI in the states with 200-hp.

Yeah, my first reaction to the headline, no the SX4 crossover is.

Flat torque curve? I remember when it came out there was a number of small supercharger kits built just to flatten the curve because there was a big dip around 4k rpm.

You must have never been to southern california

Official pricing is released, or at least you can build a car and get the price on their official US website:

I feel like with cars like the Agera R out there, and now the P1/918/La Ferrari, the only way they can build a new veyron and have it be the veyron for the next 10 years is to set the bar again.

Haven't they already done this? I thought the whole goal of the G35 was to target the 3 series....

Now playing

I LOVE the SX4. Cheapest car with AWD, plus it has a lock mode for the center diff! Plus hatch with a stick and decent clearance? Love it.

Well Porsche already keeps most of their(especially more expensive) cars locked at the car shows already. Lamborghini/Aston Martin and the like at least have them viewable behind a roped off area....

Oh is it really? So the general public can't get close to this one either?

I'm so jealous. At the LA autoshow they had it in a room behind some glass! :(

After reading the forum and thinking back to some insurance claims I've had.... When I had been in an accident and the other party claimed I was liable I had to pay the deductible, then got the check to pay for the repairs. Then my insurance company went to arbitration with the other insurance agency to get paid back

I don't get why Hoopers insurance is paying out, and I really hope that there is at a minimum a discount on the ZL1 they do find him.

I feel like maybe I'm missing something here, but basically the Hoopers insurance has totaled the car and will be cutting a check to the Hoopers for the value of the wrecked ZL1, which they will be using to apply towards a new 2013 ZL1 which GM is going to help them find?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but what it sounds like is GM is helping to FIND a 2013 ZL1 for the Hoopers to purchase. In other words Hooper will be getting a check from his insurance company, after paying his deductible, and using that money to pay for most of the new car, with the difference coming out of his pocket.
