This post is awesome, thank you for telling him so I didn't have to.

Did you even watch the video? Or any other fox news video that's ever been shared ever? It was terrible, it was from fox, they usually are.

Except....

I kind of prefer the new one myself....

They did a similiar thing to the eclipse as well:

See but the problem is that safety regulations aren't just about having a strong safety cell. It's thinks like bumper height, pedestrian crash testing, tail light height laws, airbags, ABS, crumple zones, internal bumpers, padding, etc etc etc.....

A HUGE one at that!

Ford fusion by Gillette. Blech.

I agree to a point... however since the miata is really the only one they facelifted with just the mouth, and it turned out much better, it is a kinda bad example.

As a rotary driver..... that's not how you always drive?

They're going to be selling a $40,000 CUV next year.... They sell a $50,000 dollar Q7 competitor which everyone already was on, which is why it's their #1 selling car.

I was thinking the other day.... most german car makers make most of their money off entry level 4-doors. 3 series, A4, C-class, etc..... (At least in the US).

The smart car is also 5-6 inches taller than a mini cooper without having a rear seat or any real trunk space and is shaped like an egg. I mean if you took a mini, chopped out the rear seats and the trunk, then squished it to be a little taller and skoot the engine back, that's pretty much the size a Smart is, however

This couldn't possibly be more wrong. In fact, in 1955, GM became the first company to make a billion dollars in profit. And I'm pretty sure they weren't selling horses. The 1950s was smack dab in the middle of the era where the automobile was having its greatest transformative effect on how we lived.

Haha yeah, the ones Lincoln does get are the most generic commuter/every day cars, like the fusion. Which is a fantastic car, but it's hardly worth making a version that's twice expensive with some fancy trim.

Ehhh, GM is still doing it a bit. Pretty much everything made by buick, the ELR, the escalade..... However yeah their bread and butter Cadillacs are actually built from the ground up as CADILLACS. It's a major reason I think Ford is struggling with Lincoln so badly.

Ahaaha tupercharger!

Due to safety regulations I don't know if they can make it much smaller..... that said it'll probably be the same size as previous models.

But it's drivers do.
