My first thought as well.

At first we thought "hey we could make a veneno!"

And then you could hold a autocross session with you and your 12-18 favorite friends!

For 35-38k you might as well buy 1.6-1.73 V6 Mustangs!

Basically cash for clunkers removed all the beaters in the market, so people who use beaters as a commuter vehicle (students, first car, on hard times, hates spending money on cars, etc) have jacked up the price. That plus the bad economy, meaning more people are going to buy used, the whole used car market is a mess.

Well, to be honest, depending on the car and the driver I could see an FRS beating an RX8 to 60. I think the RX8 has an edge once it's off the line though, but otherwise yeah they're pretty close speed wise. My point is just, I couldn't imagine trading my car in (which is in working order right now) for something so

I mean all cars roll in a corner. If you don't, you're going to have a terrible time on public roads. In fact having a slightly softer suspension means the wheels will be less likely to skip... So to an extent I agree.

The problem with roll is you're putting more weight on the outside tires of the car.... and if you turn the other way there is a sudden major weight shift. While a car that corners flatly is much more predictable and can load up the tires faster. It could be they found they can get more lateral grip with a bit of

0-60 in 5.4 is a LOT quicker than an FRS. The problem with the FRS is it needs about 40-50 more horsepower, and more torque. I currently DD an RX8, which is already the same or slightly faster than an FRS, although it also suffers the whole torque issue. I couldn't imagine trading it in for a car which is almost the

Of course. It's in beige.

Well it is a M235i, meaning it likely has M-sport suspension . Not to mention the 4 series has recently gotten a fairly luke warm response for being a bit soft, while the 1 series has recently been the small sporty coupe.

A 128i with a manual is 3208 lbs:

After further inspection.... if I can get a barely used 228i that does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds.... with a stick.... for not too much over the reported $33k in another post.... That's pretty tempting.

~$33k for a small manual RWD car that does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds..... That's good value for a CAR, not just a BMW. Honestly I've been looking at used 135i's in a similar price point, however if you can get the 228i for anything close to that, I might considering buying a car new!

Is it just me.... or does there seem to be a pretty good amount of body roll in this video?

Great. Looks like rather than getting a 135i in a year or two I'm going to have to wait like 4-5 years for this to depreciate!

Looks great.... will never happen. Now that the 911 is a decent GT car, this would either have to compete with it (bad) or be better than a 911(even worse in porsches eyes).

If making a phone call crashed a plane, terrorists would have a fucking field day. Leaving your phone in airplane mode playing music isn't going to have any impact on the plane.

I don't care what all the haters say. Exhaust pipes on both sides is more aesthetically pleasing then just one side. Single mid exit, like the boxster, are also fine.
