Wow the hatch is going to be a lot bigger than the sedan.

You buy a Turbo S and debadge it?

I don't know about meg-rich or regular rich, but I see more Bentley GT's every day here (in Orange County) than AMG Mercedes or any other comparable level of car.

Oh yeah, absolutely. Southern OC would probably sell more of these than 1-series convertibles. Especially if they came with "safe" AWD for when it never rains.

I saw a Mansory veyron on the street.... naked carbon fibre body with gold details.... I couldn't believe it, I totally freaked out. It sounded MEAN and looked insane.

I agree with the nuts. I like the blue tip exhaust look.

It's a land yacht. Teak seems completely acceptable. Also it's beautiful as hell.

Completely unacceptable. Cops should be held to HIGHER standards than citizens. Not lower ones. I'm sorry that happened to you, I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been.... how the fuck could you be found liable?!

But it is the cops fault they entered a blind intersection at a high rate of speed with no escape plan.

As someone who lives in orange county, if they sold this with a diesel and a stick, it'd be a pretty awesome daily driver. (Especially if they threw in enough toys cheaply like nav, parking sensors, decent sound system, etc).

Yes. Or their 4.2 V8, or even a supercharged V6. It should also be cheaper than an R8, and available with a stick, and designed from the ground up to be a performance car.

I'd want it to be a bit more aspirational and hardcore.

Exactly. Porsche cayman S/R territory or something like that...

Exactly. Oh society... the things you produce.

Exactly! :)

Don't get me wrong, hybrid sports/supercars are cool. The P1 is an amazing car.

Oh also, could you let me know the documentary you watched? I'd love to watch 45-minutes of all the engineering behind that car.

More specifically (at least a figure I've heard tossed around a while back when they hadn't sold as many) when you factor in R&D costs the unit cost came out to around $5-million.

Oh look ANOTHER version of the continental GT that looks exactly like every other model.
