I'm b, except I try to drive normally, as opposed to my normal faster than average driving. That said, I had a friend who had a breathalyzer, so I had a couple glasses of wine with dinner and felt tipsy enough where I didn't feel safe driving. I blew a .03.... so .08 must be completely sloshed.

Yeah, I was going to say flooding... the only experience I have with carbureted engines is a goped. But to cold start an engine you have to choke it and prime it so that it's a rich start.... and if you don't get it primed after 2 pulls you're almost sure to have flooded it.

We'll have another rotary one day! I've got hope.

Hey, my insurance says it's a 1.3L sedan! Totally economical and reasonable :P

I agree. The Rolls I was surprised that it didn't look like shit. The Morgan I froze and stared at for a couple minutes..... that's gorgeous.

Yeah, I have an '05. Given the opportunity, I would still choose it. People think I'm insane when I tell them the mileage and reliability issues. Like, why would you ever buy such a car?

I love mine. When I bought mine, my dad had me talk to a friend of his who had owned one. He told me how bad it was on gas, maintenance etc, and that I really ought to get another car. He probably was right, but I'd make the same choice today.

Well based off this, I nomiate the RX8.

Fair enough. Then would a 997 GT3 RS qualify? They made less than 2,000 I believe.

It looks like some one stuck a jaguar XF front to a Rolls Royce rear. Very british... but it's not working for me.

And a 458 and a BRZ are both sports cars...? Or a 458 and a cayman?

A 911 Turbo, or a GT3 and a 458 in the same category? Sure. A base Carrera and a 458? Maybe.... But a Cayman/Cayman S and a 458....? Or a 350Z/RX8 and a 458? (Or do you consider 135i's, Caymans, RX8's, etc not sports cars?)

It would also mean you had to include the LFA in the same segment as a Boxster S... I'm all for just using the term hypercar. I mean 700+ hp cars that are trying to kill you with ridiculous price tags, probably aren't in the same realm as a 458, but a 458 is still pretty super.

Exactly! Or smiles per dollar, also a decent measure.

The G37 has more leg room, although admittedly the headroom is terrible....

So then a 458 and a base Carrera are both sports cars?

I think that since cars like the 959, F50, Mclaren F1, the Pagani's and Koenigsegg's, Hennessy Venom GT, the Veyrons.... the things that used to be super have been one upped.

Eh, I would argue on looks, but I'm biased as well. However, on the grounds of maintenance/reliability, the S2k is a better car. In terms of performance? Also a better car. I considered one as well when buying my RX8, but I ultimately chose the RX8 because it had back seats, a more usable trunk, and was a lot cheaper.

I own one. I get about 14-15 mpg.

RX8 started at about $27k, the FRS about $25k. So they really aren't that far off....
