Because the boxster is for people who can't afford a 911. As one of those people I'm glad the new boxster looks as fantastic as it does and hope to buy a used one in a couple years. :)

Good looking convertible porsche you say?

Hah, best part, is that it got bumped to a third-degree felony 'cause one of the drivers made a complaint about injury.

I don't use fake "standard ratings" that are made up to compare a rotary to a piston. (Due to the way one chamber detonates 3 times in a full revolution).

+1, a 13B renesis is good for almost 240 bhp stock, and according to wikipedia:

You seem to be forgetting the 13b. ;) "1.3L" with 238 hp.

I'm with you. I don't know a whole lot about wine/wineries, there are just too many. I usually try to spend about 15, I'm just not making a 20+ dollar investment in something I know nothing about!

To be fair, if you stick a car in neutral and throw it around a corner, understeer/oversteer becomes much less apparent.

Seriously, what?

The current "cool" design language is projector HID's. In general, except for maybe cresting a hill or hitting a bump, they don't light anything (at all) above about waist height.

Waht.... seriously some of my favorite tail light.

As a Taylor Swift fan, only if I can get a different color. Maybe.... red? :D

I agree, on the old one. The new one though is seriously gorgeous. What is better in it's segment? (50/60k rwd roadster).

Yeah, I've been on three of these! Paris, Tokyo, and New York. I totally agree with the order they're in here.

Texas is raising the speed limit on a couple roads to 85mph. That's just under 137kph.

As an RX8 owner, while more top end power would also be nice, I'd prefer some torque. Namely because every time I want to accelerate I need to make sure I'm over 4.5k rpm. Also the 0-60 suffers terribly because you wait a good second before you hit the power band.

I'm going to have to say:

The problem with both the S2k and RX8 wasn't really power... they've got a lot for their weight, it was torque. Unfortunately you can't have super high rpm (affordable) engines without small displacement, which equals low torque. I mean think about it, 240hp is 40 more hp then the BRZ gets. Even without torque, the

For some reason, automakers seem to think gold/beige is cool now.

Such a pretty car. This new one is disappointing.
