Mach is the speed of sound. Sound travels different speeds depdning on the density of the medium. For example, at sea level it's around 760 mph, in water it'd be insanely faster. At the altitude he was at, the air is significantly thinner so Mach 1 is slower. At 100,000 feet it's about 690.

Probably cause the A5 sport back is like 2000 pounds more and i think you get a little less room.

""Would James Bond drive this?" Older British luxury and sports cars are automatically classy, no question, as are most Mercedes-Benz models built before, say, 1990 Air-cooled 911s are pretty classy. An older Jaguar XJ is classy."

That's why they don't sell it in the states.

Yeah, high power band would be due to v-tec! My main point is just that "what's the best car for a budding car enthusiast?" "Any car" isn't totally true.

Yep, +1.

I've got a bottle of their rye, it's good stuff! Although the rye is too much neat, works really well in a manhattan though.

OOh, better question. Would you buy a Corolla? Cause the civic is a decent fun to drive car.

I hooned a slushbox geo metro and it was fantastic. However, the civic is like 6 grand less than a Camry. It's a way different price point, plus I'd way rather have a Civic than a Camry. It's gotten bloated but it's still a fairly interesting/decent car.

Those look like original iPhone edges.... idk totally doesn't look right to me.

I wouldn't call bourbon a 'fine' spirit. It's delicious, but it's "working mans" whiskey. So as far as Bourbon goes I'd say Bulleit is pretty much 'top shelf'.

Haha, technically I guess you could. I've found though I only need to pour in a quart every 1000 miles or so. So basically, 2 extra quarts, then an oil change. :)

If you're engine doesn't die early, and you don't kill it from oil, I think they usually get to 80k. The real problem is it's not worth rebuilding.... I saw one on autotrader for 7k that had 120k miles, the engine had been replaced at 80k though. That'd be a deal!

I don't agree. I mean, I won't judge you on what you drive..... Especially based on how much it cost. That's just dumb. However regardless of what type of enthusiast you are, I highly doubt the 2013 Camry is the best car. At 22+ grand there has to be something better.

Ahaha +1

RX8! For a little less than $15k you can get one that's a couple years old with almost no miles. For that you get a very comfortable interior, real usable back seats, a decent trunk (although the opening is kinda tiny, whatever). You also get a car that Jeremy Clarkson said "of all the cars I've driven this year, I'm

Definitely on the more pricey side for a 'budding' enthusiast, but still a decent and practical choice.

Kinda a disappointing list.... :( I saw so many more amazing colors on the QOTD.

At my house we have 2 'full size' fridges for this exact reason. It's a pain in the ass when you get home and have to eat half the buffalo cause only half will fit in the freezer!

Yeah... I mean they don't need to be a mechanic.... but if you want to sell me talk about the independent rear suspension. Talk about the how the seating position was developed for the car to create more efficient packaging. Tell me the things that your company did that make this car special.
