Hey, it's not as much of a joke as the 911's rear parcel shelf seats.

Also if you're just going to use it at a track, which I think would be the idea for something like this, even just taking a cat off the 13b and re-tuning the ecu is supposed to make a decent performance boost. (Seeing how much Mazda had to detune stuff to make it meet emissions, burning oil, loving to shoot flames,

Lotus Exige with a Turbo'd Mazda 13b. Just for the sake of it, the current Exige S does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds with the following:

I find it Ironic the two cars involved were a BRZ and a McLaren. That's pretty much the top and bottom of the "true sports car" market.

That's what I call hot! The car just oozes hatred and insanity. I'd rather have the BAC mono when it comes to useless cars, but the X6M undeniably has a very threatening apocalyptic presence to it.

I also said vita. Also read the last sentence.

+1. Also the trunk is more of a shelf you put stuff in.... and at 30k you still need to go buy a engine and transmission.

There is nothing strawman about that. Like you said, you said 300 is a lot to spend on 2.5 year old. I provided cases where there are parents who DO in fact do that. That's called evidence, and is relevant cause they're close to 300 and things parents buy for kids. I didn't ignore your argument, and I didn't make a

O_O i need dis. Heck in the states when you buy a caterham you don't get an " engine, transmission and all engine ancillaries".

To be fair the lab bench is kind of a cooler/better example, and the mythbusters don't really talk about the fact the bullet is made of lead. That said it's still a pretty cool video and is extremely relevant even if not as scientifically enlightening. :)

It's not a strawman whatsoever. Strawman fallacy would go more like this: "You think 300 is to much to spend on a kid? I don't understand why you're trying to ruin other kids lives".

unless you drop it.... /trololo :D

No way! I've got a core i7 vista laptop and it runs like shit, but it's so much further ahead of your shitty i5 laptop that runs smooth as butter on win 7. /sarcasm

$300 is close to (or less) than what you'd pay for a video game console. The Wii launched at 250, the PS3 launched at I think $500? The 3DS launched at $200 and the vita launched at $250.

The apple price point graph is dumb. Stick in their notebooks or desktops and you'll see for larger "computing" devices they don't drop under 999 dollars.

Also as a note, that's a really quick summary of what they did in the episode. There's probably 15-20 minutes worth of material in the actual episode.

http://youtu.be/ Mythbusters actually did this one! http://videos.howstuffworks.com/discovery/32911-mythbusters-clips-electromagnetic-watch-video.htm

Resounding yes. The Prius is the first car for sitting in traffic jams! I love the idea of having a efficient boring as hell commuter car for my boring as hell commute. No need to confuse your love of driving pretending the commute is anything more than a chore.

ding ding ding, we have a winner!

I'd say the same for pale yellow.
