I... wait.... huh?

If I feel comfortable enough to use the restroom, I'd feel comfortable using one of these. They had these seats at a couple places I visited in Japan and they're fantastic. Way more sanitary than just toilet paper.

Usually you put a round filter on the bottom so the grinds don't get into your cup, and one on top to distribute water. I don't know if giz did this, or if it's in the yama instruction guide, but again any coffee place I've been that has a cold dripper puts one on top for that reason.

Generally you put a paper filter on the top so when the drip of water hits it distributes among the top of the grinds. The build it yourself with a glass funnel might over extract the center of the column, but I think in general these do a pretty good job of avoiding it. Also again it's basically filling the coffee

Oh, also I left another comment on here on how to build something very similar yourself for under a hundred bucks.... (also a bit less delicate using quality lab ware). I wouldn't spend 6 times as much as a toddy for cold drip, but for 100 bucks it might be worth it.

The key difference with this is that it doesn't make concentrated coffee. Although the brew time technically is about the same as a toddy (which are awesome don't get me wrong), the coffee is constantly slowly flowing through the beans.

There isn't any concentrate. You just drink it straight, it's about as strong as black coffee.

I've really wanted one of these, but I don't really want to fork over almost 300 dollars..... I've looked in to making one myself.

Most likely. It'll take the bitrate you have, smooth out the jumps in the soudwave or w/e.... Similar to 240hz television with 'motion plus' creates in between frames to increase the source frame rate. However that works pretty poorly so who knows.

Without having first watched the video, I'm going to guess.... awesome?

+1. I like the idea that there are people who worked their ass off for a million bucks; and might get some nicer toys to fulfill their aspirations, without becoming high nosed douches.

Yeah, I wouldn't know exactly what would need to go in to connecting one end to the other, but a turbo 4 Rx8 would be interesting. I think the rotary lent a lot to the cars (fairly) low weight, extremely low center of mass, 50/50 weight distribution, etc..... but it has no torque. On a track with high revs it doesn't

Got it, that makes sense. Thanks for explaining! I wonder how the MS3 engine would affect weight distribution and whatnot...

No, he does not identify as male. He identifies as androgynous which "have a sexual identity that is not clearly male or clearly female". He has stated he views himself (identifies) as androgynous in interviews. That's not cisgendered(unambiguously male), it's transgendered.

If you pull it gently, and don't YANK it, they're not very dramatic.

You must not be from the states. :) {or California is just terrible}

I think a large part of it is launch control..... if you look at the 0-99 it's still .4 seconds apart.
