The only problem is it would compete directly with the MX5.

This was a great car, they stopped making it way to early. However I'd be worried they would fiddle with it if they re-made it, just so it didn't feel like they were making the same car again.... and they would ruin it.

Less power, and doesn't have two real back seats.

I saw one of these in my visit to France, and I was thoroughly confused.

I LOVED the way the solstice looked. The biggest problem it had obviously was weight....

Unfortunately even with 3 rotors, i don't think they'd be producing close to 350hp on hydrogen.

This is a fantastic idea. A modern day Duesenberg would be amazing. We need more cars in the Veyron space, if nothing more than for entertainment.

If you can't stand to carry your charger, or are unable to remember it and are always just going to use some one else's, just don't buy the iPhone. If you need Europe to ban the iPhone to keep you from buying one, just so you don't have to carry a charger, then clearly there is a bigger problem.

Most pipe tobacco smells pretty pleasant actually.... then again when people talk about smoking they're talking crappy quality tobacco laced with tar and rat poison which you smoke at least 5 of a day.

Their macbook pro/apple TV/mac mini's do... but in all honesty I didn't know that sort of adapter existed, or that USB could support full HD video.

At work I usually have my headphones(music), power cable(obvious), an ethernet cable(our wifi network is crap), external monitor(one screen isn't enough!), and my phone (charging).

Oh wow, that port does 1080p HDMI?

After just watching top fuel dragsters on youtube, I 100% get why it'd be fun to watch. It's insane how fast those things get up to insane speeds. I'm sure the sound and heat in real life would be a real rush.

:( 30 if you're lucky. An hour to lobster.

As a ginger, I feel my skin start to feel hot right before I start burning. I don't know how it is for people with souls though!

Right, I think we're both just trying to make a decent case for why people like drag racing. :)

Also how fast your car accelerates is a real world performance figure you can use on a day to day basis (from stop lights or passing on the freeway) that's easy to demonstrate. It's a lot harder to quantify the way a car feels when you drive it, and you most likely aren't going to be pulling 1G turns on the street.

That's why it's a rule of thumb. If the older person is 18+ it works pretty well though.

Hahaha, fair point.

Some one had submitted it in the original post, and I still agree it should've been #1!
