Youre wrong. Guy in the left lane was overtaking a truck, leaving room for a car to merge on the highway and then overtaking a van. Its pretty clear if you actually watch the video.

So what was the left lane bandit really suppose to do in this case? There was traffic merging in the right lane, so not an opportune time to merge. They were passing, which is what the left lane is for. And while I don’t condone brake checking, I really don’t see this as an obvious or aggressive brake check. Traffic…

I dont think this guy was being a lane hog at all. He was passing a slow truck at a spot where a slow car was entering the freeway and a car in the right lane was going even slower. He was passing everyone when he was in the left lane. So I dont see a lane hog here, just an asshole talegater.

You’re 50% right, but you should never drive in the left lane unless you’re passing. Driving in the left lane for no reason is illegal in several states and it should be illegal everywhere.

The person in the Edge shouldn’t have brake-checked, but the person in the Trailblazer is totally in the wrong here if you watch the whole video.

Dude is passing a car in the right lane. That’s not “blocking” anything.

Tailgating is not a victimless crime. If you are following so close that you can’t stop, which this driver clearly was, you are putting the lives of the people in the car in front of you in danger.

Something about it reminds me of my hometown - Cape Town, South Africa. The hills, the coastline, the beaches, the sunshine. Very similar feel.
