I miss weekend trips to the desert in Southern California. Used to head out to Borrego Springs and play out in the dry washes. Loose trails are indeed the most fun. RWD Montero with limited slip, I could go most places I wanted and swing the tail out. I also did it in my RWD Datsun 810, that car was a great rally car…

Now the Connie is in Texas waiting to be recycled for soup cans. I was lucky enough to watch it depart the berth it was resting in since 2003, when it was towed to Brownsville.
