I was fascinated by the backlash to The Last Jedi, since I really enjoyed it. I joined a TLJ Facebook group and browsed around some reddit threads. Wow, the insane fans who think TLJ ruined their childhood really, really, really hate her. Any female character is obviously just there for political correctness and are

You’re right, it’s not. Dennis Miller completely transformed after 9/11. Used to love his HBO show and was shocked at how hard he pivoted, although even before that he called himself a progressive conservative. Still, it was a shock. Happens, I guess.

BTW, your profile gif is how I feel every single fucking day these days.

“our country needed a huge change and it wouldn’t happen if Hillary was elected or something to that effect.”

If it’s only for a small circle of your friends, don’t post it on twitter. Why are these supposedly adult people behaving like 15-year-olds in the early days of facebook?

The magic of the film was that it wasn’t really a “horror” movie in the traditional sense at all: much like how Get Out wasn’t some slasher flick or scream-your-brains-out movie, The Quiet Place mostly thrived on showing people behaving like humans in truly awful circumstances. It’s

It’ll star these guys.

I really really liked this movie. I had high expectations and they were met.

I’m always cautiously pessimistic when it comes to sitcom actors trying there hand at directing. Maybe I’m wrong, but they seem to lack the smarts to create. I did like Krasinski in The Office though so maybe I should check it out. Not sure.

RE: Michelle McNamara and the Golden State Killer. I keep thinking about how John List evaded police until his story was featured on America’s Most Wanted, although that’s literally just law enforcement saying “Look, we can’t find this guy, can regular people in American help us out?” But McNamara’s book really
