I was hoping for a “best of SHS” article that was completely blank. Living through her terrible-ness once is enough. I can’t be subjected to it twice.

I worked in digital marketing for 6 years and did a lot work for some pretty big companies. This kind of stuff is just the tip of the soul-sucking iceberg that made me re-evaluate my career and venture into a totally new field.

That’s fair. Like I said to another commenter, my mind doesn’t seem to function like most other people I know when it comes to that sort of humor. I often struggle to tell the difference between satire and someone going way over the top with an opinion.

Fair enough. My mind tends to be extremely methodical and analytical, so I do have a harder time than most at deciphering between satire and someone just being over-the-top.

I have no arguments with that. I’m not a Warriors fan, so I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I was also leaving another potential championship on the table since this series isn’t technically over yet. Plus, I think they can still win 1 or 2 more over the next couple years, but it definitely won’t be…

I’m not sure what point you’re making. Comparing a team to the 80's Lakers is high praise. I’m just saying success similar - and better - to the W’s run has been achieved pretty recently. Literally every decade except the 70's has a team that won at least 3 championships.

I get that. But nobody really thinks the World Cup (men’s or women’s) features the best 24 or 32 teams in the world. Bad/average teams from weaker regions get in while better teams from stronger regions get left out in qualifying.

By virtue of playing in limp-ass Oceania and therefore having the luxury to qualify for the biggest tournaments simply by beating up on the even tinier nations around them, New Zealand essentially get free admission to the World Cup…

Whether or not the W’s dynasty ends this year or not, it will almost certainly end within the next year or two.
