I thought a good chunk of people who voted for Trump were in the “stop interventionist policies” camp. Maybe that’s just what they say because it’s easier to get out than “I think white people are superior to every other race.”

I thought the same thing watching it live, then had it confirmed after watching the replay for 5 minutes. He had his back to the goal when Bishop went down and didn’t face that direction until he had already let his shot fly.
Agree with everything you say. But at what point does a rested bench player give you a better chance to win than a starter that can barely function? In the last OT, Jokic looked pretty bad and had multiple turnovers that looked like the result of a man at the end of his physical and mental rope.
After Game 1 the Gasol trade briefly looked ingenious, like it had given the Raptors a legitimate Embiid stopper
I don’t know why, but a guy sauntering out of the penalty box and getting a goal like that is one of my favorite plays in all of sports.
Except Kyrie, I don’t find any of them to be particularly unlikeable. But, full disclosure, I lived in Boston for a while, so I may just be used to Boston-style annoying.
I figured someone would say Houston, but they’ve been a perennial playoff team for the last *checks Google* 7 years, and they were extremely close to a Finals appearance last year.
I sure have. I don’t get the joke, though.
Yeah, I don’t feel too bad for her. I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet that the players had no interest in being there, so either Mulkey or the school’s administration -or both - pretty much put them in a hostage-type situation.
At least of Boston advances we can take solace in knowing that good things are happening to Al Horford, an awesome dude.
Would someone mind explaining to a simple guy like me how stuff like this passes? I live in the Phoenix area, and most people I talk to were pretty miffed about the Suns situation and were definitely not up for having tax money go to any sports team, let alone one as poorly run as the Suns.
I agree with what other commenters are telling you.
Fair enough. I can tamper down my anger over using the word “skullcap,” but it’s still a BS apology.
Haha, I’m with you. I was much older and playing at a more competitive level than church league, and my coach was a hard ass with his “don’t talk to the refs” rule.
So, the answer is complicated. Looking at the Refugee Act, charging someone money to file as a refugee is probably not going to fly when (not if) it’s challenged in court.
I know I’d be telling my grandkids about it.
I hear you. I got T’d up once in my basketball life. I calmly walked over to the ref, told the him was doing a terrible job, and immediately got a T.
Pat Connaughton has no business playing 24 minutes in a playoff game
Agree, and I’ll even take it a step further.
Two things about the “apology:”
