Mayor Adams is a cop; he’s always going to be in the wrong side of any issue.

I agree 100%, though I’d consider ditching the lift and the Idiot Bumper. That would be easy and/or pretty cheap to do and would net a useful truck.

LOL yes all those dang-fool people who stupidly chose to be born into generational poverty in a rural setting with limited access to education, avocational training, and jobs. Are you sure the field ain’t barren because you salted it with your judgemental nonsense?

“tHEY sHOULD mOVE tO cITIES”

Word, man. I didn’t grow up POOR-poor, but my parents bought used cars and my mother cried when I outgrew all my older cousins and couldn’t live in hand-me-downs anymore. Paying attention to prices is ingrained in me; I can splurge, but I can’t not NOTICE.

Straight up yes to all of this.

100% accurate. Anyone who rides clipless pedals has had that happen. Anyone who’s old enough to remember toe cages and straps like Biden’s using in the video remembers how much harder they can be to get out of than clipless pedals if the strap is even a little too tight.

BÖC is wildly underrated as a band.

YES. Vent-windows, wing-windows, quarter-windows... call them what you, will, but BRING THEM BACK.

Yeah, I was stoked. And the wheels aren’t bad - Axis Elite Disc, which are a tad heavy but at 270 pounds naked and wet I’m not really in the market for a featherweight wheelset...

Serious question: What percentage of “speeding” fatalities also involved not wearing a seatbelt and/or being chemically impaired?

Word. I scored a new old-stock Specialized Diverge Comp E5, with a complimentary extra wheelset, for $2500 and that was almost a steal.

As for pricing, you are spot-on. My family has six bikes; two of them cost over $3000 and a third cost almost that much, although I did get the dealer to throw in a second wheelset for free. I’d love an e-bike if I weren’t fat and already well-equipped enough to make another bike feel really ridiculous.

At least the 900 and 1500 horsepower versions will be destroyed almost immediately.

Yea, that’s just Not How It Works.

This is GLORIOUS - Peak Toyota in remarkably good condition at dang-near ‘f**k it’ money.

The glowplug light is on in my formerly diesel-powered 1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham two-door, suggesting that there’s a ground fault in the O2 sensor-to-ECM loop for the supercharged 370-inch iron-block fuel-injected LS motor.

A friend of mine in high school had a mid-80s 2wd version of one of these, and it didn’t FEEL slow at all. Nice price.

2001 Grand Marquis, bone stock: Grandma Squirt, because it’s Depends-able

That’s brilliant.
