The amount of shit Hillary (and others as you say) has had to endure over her 40 years serving the public has been astronomical and disgusting. I know she won’t be crying when she accepts the nomination tomorrow night (wimmenz be weeping, etc.), but a LOT of us will on her behalf.

I have to give this woman credit. While I think the republican party as a whole stands for some backwards, racist, sexist, greedy principles that defy logic, civility, and science, when it mattered this woman did what was right. So many partisan folks will not step back and assess reality. Good for her. I may disagree…

Exactly. While I’m glad she voted for Hillary, she acts like Trump is an aberration of the party and not the standard bearer.

OK, so for some male perspective: I played basketball & track in H.S., and BBall in college. I seem to recall the occasional “hey, did you catch so-and-so on the women’s team? She’s really hot. Damn right she is. Know if she’s available?”

I made $20/hour for two kids literally almost 20 years ago, and I was just some idiot pre-teen/teen. $15 an hour for three kids in 2016 is criminally low, especially if the babysitter is an actual adult with responsibilities.

$15/hour for three kids sounds cheap in my notoriously expensive neck of the woods.

it depends on the center- there’s a lot that goes in to maintaining a center itself- rent, bills, food, cleaning (sanitation is extremely key, we have three different levels of bleach/water combo for different situations), maintaining functioning and safe equipment for the kids, toys etc. for small independent centers…

I don’t think this is about that. You don’t get into screaming matches in front of the kids and end up shoving one, however accidental it may have been, because you’re smoking too much pot.

A lot of stuff is more tolerable when you aren’t parents. And then when it isn’t being reflected back to you by your teenage children.
