I just want to say how proud I am of everyone who went to the March. I went to the one in Topeka, Kansas, which was pretty small compared to some of the ones around the country (around 3,000 people), but that was so much more than I would have thought for such a die-hard republican state.

Agreed. I’m not a scientist that deals with genetic engineering but I am one that deals with the FDA (and know enough about GMOs to be well informed). I am also well-versed in “dumbing it down for the non-scientists”. My explanation of what I do is “I make the test that the doctor uses when you’re sick”.
