I really admire your commitment to getting this article properly illustrated - I really, really do. Thanks for making me laugh.

Exactly what I thought!

Wild potato, wasn't it?

The rolled sleeves bother me for some reason.

Wow! Thank you for the great information. Now I might get the other book too if I can find an English translation.

Forgot to add that I really want to get this book; do you know of it?

I discovered Skin79's Pink BB cream and was astounded at how well it matched my weird pale white (but w/ yellow undertones) skin. I just got the S79 Black Egg Pore Finish Powder but haven't used it yet - it arrived today. Although it's not Korean but Japanese, I really love Rohto Hadalabo Shirojyun Arbutin Milk,

Yes please!

I love love love Korean skin care - I wish I had discovered it earlier!

Starred for the Robertson Davies reference!

I'll credit you for calling attention to it first & for the Bowie reference in your screen name.

I ❤️ my hysterectomy!!

Ha! I never thought of that. It is real stuff - it's great if you want the benefits of petroleum jelly without the industrial byproducts. Kind of a cheesy name though.

Medicine Mama's Sweet Bee Magic is awesome too!

Look for Waxelene (petroleum free!). The ingredients are organic soy oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil & organic rosemary oil. I use it to keep my skin from cracking at 14,000+ feet altitude and it works like a dream. It's available at health food stores.

Greyhound zen!

I understand. It took losing my job, my house and everything in it to get me to the "nothing left to lose" attitude about moving. The security of job and home are very hard to dismiss.

I moved to Colorado after Katrina destroyed my house and I have NO regrets-the weather, job market for educated people, and more tolerant populace here gave me a renewed lease on life. I do miss the food though.
