Fucking A.

Yeah. Can't wait til they get sued when someone gets bit by a water moccasin.

Well said. It also funds various forms of violence/terrorism.

I’msorry to hear this. I do know of other older adults who do the Peace Corps after retirement. I really wish her some peace and happiness.

Goddamn autocorrect made my comment even more unintelligible than my chronic lack of sleep. Sorry. Anyway, you are spot on with your comment. I love animals, but ugh...

Be comforted by Mortician. The kitten in the morgue. I can’t stop thinking about the stories of cats eating their dead ‘owners’ when locked up without food if their people die.

Preach (about cotton)!

Glad to see you’re back. ETA: No snark intended; I totally get the point you're making here. I always used to enjoy your comments and haven’t seen you around in a while.

Awesome.

I nominate Can’t Stop the Music (the Village People make a milk commercial, hijinx with Steve Gutenberg & then-Bruce Jenner ensue).

ELO has always been my not-so-guilty pleasure. I’m proud to say I inspired an ex’s stoner metal band to do a cover of Evil Woman.

For me, it’s a toss-up between Xanadu and Can’t Stop the Music (with the Village People, Steve Gutenberg & then-Bruce Jenner).

Elayne did a few of my piercings and I'm glad to see her getting the press.

Thank you for knowing what Grecian Formula is! I reference it occasionally (frequently) in conversation and no-one (younger than me) ever knows what the hell I’m talking about.

That was me before my hysterectomy. I ❤️ my hysterectomy.

Yep. A 22 degree halo, to be precise. ETA There may be some sun dog action there too, but I can't see the other corresponding bright area.

Hamlet:
And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

I have bipolar disorder and I really, really hope it never manifests like what is seen in the video.

Starred because I agree, and for your use of collywobbles.

I agree. I believe traveling alone is a wonderful way to reset one’s mind, body and soul in preparation for the next stage in life’s journey. I’m considerably older now, but back in my twenties I traveled alone through a lot of the U.S. on an Amtrak train and then later backpacked through England, Ireland and Wales.
