I don’t need anything more from MBV...I try to listen to their other albums and then stop and listen to “Loveless” again instead...if they make something else great that would be great but I’m okay

exactly.. the career path (ideally) tends to go: “get noticed for indy work, then get picked up by marvel or dc and make your mark on some big titles, then go back to indy work but now with a much bigger following”... with the hope that some of the indy work get chosen for a tv/movie adaptation.

...how is it more convenient to try and thread the needle between too cars while going backwards than to back out from between two cars into empty space?

The dancing scene is actually great; it’s memorable and completely in character for this Spider-Man.

Exactly. I’m glad that this article at least gets that Peter’s strutting scene was *meant* to be cringey. So many complaints about the movie suggest that people thought that Raimi was trying to make him cool and just messed up.

Could also be he has a thrill seeking personality, and being with the same person all the time counters that so he’s just bored easily.

I honestly think this movie is less meant to be a movie and more an edgelord parade of fan service.

I think HBO better have looked very hard for any possible analogies in-house given what happened to Reply All.

Grammys need to just say “Fuck it” and base noms/winners on sales.

I would have zero concerns with a salvage title vehicle like David did here. It’s cheap anyway, it’s a beater sort of vehicle for most of us or something to build for off-road.

We’re going to be able to tell future generations there was a time when you could purchase a quesadilla without giving out all of your personal information and their minds are going to be blown.

[sigh]..............

A lot of bathrooms in subsidized housing (projects) are set up this way. There is just a hole between the bathrooms filled in by the respective medicine cabinets. Like in the Candyman stories.

Yeah, I really don’t get why people think the manufacturer is going to drop below MSRP for them, they’re just giving up the option to negotiate. Which, you can already do with a Factory Order. Have Ford (Or whoever, but I worked for Ford) do up your Factory Order, and pay for it up front. It gets delivered to the

I trust the mfgs to set a fairer price than dealers.

They are doing better. They’re holding the cars back for quality checks instead of letting them out the door with parts from Home Depot while developing a solution for later cars.

I think it was a flex on the court - that piddly traffic tickets matter very little in the world of surgery. The doctor was letting the court know how little it mattered to him.

I doubt it. I think it’s more likely that he’s the kind of egotistical fuckwad who thinks that anything that reminds him he can’t do whatever he wants, of which a traffic ticket is a mildly annoying example, is a personal affront of the highest order. Those people always need to challenge these things - he’s basically

Not sure what point the good(?) doctor was trying to make with this stunt but WOW was that ever not the way to make it

This is for sure just bad driving. Any normal person would have pulled themselves over one lane after the pass. Maybe not any TESLA person, but any normal person. Even if you’re still driving faster than traffic, you slide over to let the car behind you pass. If nothing else, then you can speed up to however fast
