>Why didn’t Prince release this incredibly entertaining and vital set of music in his lifetime?

>I actually enjoy this type of no BS review

Idk why any car manufacturer gives any writer at Jalopnik a crossover to review as it’s always the same “this is fine if you love garbage!” hot takes. It’s about as funny as some boomer being given a hip hop album to review and making a “cRap music” joke.

This situation always makes me think of a Dilbert comic I read ages ago where Dilbert was put in charge of project BIFF - Big Improvements For Free.  This dude is looking for project BIFF.

The letter grade reviews on this site make no sense; these movies are only worth a C+ each yet the abysmal False Positive gets a B-.  It just makes no sense.  I think they write the reviews then just throw a dart at a board for the letter grade.

I honestly don’t think my kids even know who Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are. When I was a kid everyone had cable so we all saw reruns of boomer kids stuff like Looney Toons, The Flintstones, etc., but my kids have grown up entirely with streaming (and no cable) so they just haven’t been exposed to those characters in

Idk how you could call his performance in Mandy “beige boring” to pick one example. It’s fine if you don’t like that movie but his performance absolutely elevates that movie.

This is like when people dismiss Kirstin Stewart as a terrible actress because they only watch the soulless blockbusters she does for the paycheque that allows her to keep doing wonderful indie movies. Yes Cage is in a lot of garbage but he takes those roles to pay for the movies he actually cares about.

Maybe it’s because I’m in Canada and our fast-food options are more limited but Subway is always at the top of my list if we’re in a situation where we have to get fast-food (ie., a roadtrip or whatever where we can’t cook and don’t want to spend an hour in a sit-down restaurant).

Yeah no one on the planet who’s shopping for a CUV wants 2-doors.  Just a baffling design decision.

Tarantino’s the biggest egomaniac in Hollywood, which is saying a lot. Every so often he’ll tease his upcoming retirement to whip his fanbase into a tizzy then of course says don’t worry I’m not going anywhere.  He just needs a bunch of praise every so often.

Betting on Chris Paul to stay healthy in the playoffs seems incredibly risky lol.  I’d have been sweating if it were my $100

>Surely there are other opportunities that afford greater freedom, just maybe not as much filthy lucre?

He’s already been better in making adjustments this series than Rivers was last year. I can’t really explain the Clippers implosion but blaming Lue doesn’t seem to be the answer. Getting a pass-first point guard would solve a lot of their problems - it would be hilarious if they got Lowry and ended up with 3 of the 5

Because her being a super pale waify goth is a large part of what made the look iconic as it was so different from traditional depictions of Death.

Yeah I agree with all of this; I understand that representation is important but at the same time Death’s look is an iconic part of 90's comics culture so it’s a shame we’re not getting that on screen.

Do you mean Darabont?  He wrote the script for a potential Indiana Jones movie that wasn’t made.  I don’t know if any of his ideas made it into Crystal Skull but he’s not credited as a writer.

Yeah I was just thinking about that; the whole sequence with the motorcycle and the greasers vs. the jocks in the diner is really well done. You can argue about whether that scene makes sense from a script standpoint but in terms of filmmaking Spielberg really does a great job with it. It’s hard to believe that’s in

Shia LeBeouf was not the problem with Indiana Jones 4; he and Karen Allen were the only two people who seemed like they wanted to be there.

I tried to add a direct link to the executive order but Kinja ate it. If you google
