Get yourself a pro touring Chevelle or Camaro, or Fastback Mustang. Loud, will stand out, and get tons of nods. Could get a great one with fuel injection, manual, air conditioning, etc for about half your budget.
Which company is it?
Right there with you. Hopefully though they continue the trend from the trailer where dogs take revenge in this one.
So long as other manufacturers and auto writers use shift speed as a measurement of performance gusto the trend will continue. That bar was set back when everyone was going nuts over the Porsche PDK, so now it feels like shift speeds have to be touted. Traditional automatics in performance cars seemingly have to be…
I feel like most people would enjoy a manual would also better enjoy a car with less power that they can drive at 10/10ths. This car is about speed, and in that spirit they went with the fastest transmission. If you want engagement over speed, they have the GT350.
The first company, whether it be Tesla, Atlis, Rivian, Bollinger, etc that actually comes out with a legitimate electric truck with 300+ miles range has my money. Towing/hauling the equivalent of a 4cyl F-150 would be fine with me, even with a range reduction. Make it happen, I will buy it.
Absolutely. Everyone has wants and needs, and it’s easy for people to judge and say he should just go without and support his wife. But it’ll affect his mental health over time, and unlike physical ailments mental health issues are much harder to see. A lack of a physical connection will absolutely deteriorate an…
Did you miss the part where they say this video specifically is staged? In the actual 2 situations that have been posted elsewhere, they were the more traditional “bro” trucks blocking chargers, hence why people are referring to them here.
They don’t really make extension cords for that much power . . .
That’s kind of the equivalent of asking someone not to wait in line to buy something, and instead, go patron other shops and come back when the line isn’t there. Works great if everyone does it, not so much if only you do it. Regular parking spots are there for everyone to use. The EV parking spot IS the business in…
Isn’t that 400 million for star citizen, and not 400 billion?

They likely can’t make them pay it outright, but they can certainly prevent them from playing in the league again until they do. The player could likely not pay anything if they were okay with not competing again in the future.
I think that’s because there is a huge aftermarket support for these to give their buyers the power increase they want. How long did it take for BRZ sales to wain and for every autoblog under the sun to go from “what a driver’s car” to “wish it had an extra 100hp.”
“The one with the engines that crack for no reason except that you drove it.”
I don’t disagree from an enthusiast and racing perspective. Having owned both a 13 STi, and a 16 GT350 I can tell you I wasn’t any faster in one than the other under most conditions simply because I’m not that good of a driver. The GT350 was easier to get to speed with, the STi was easier to carry speed with.
And while the STi has much better driving dynamics than a Camry, these special editions just come across as half-hearted. It’s like they’re relying on the exclusivity of these alone to sell. Good on them if they all sell. But at some point their fan base is going to demand more.
I get it, but how long can they afford to NOT invest in this platform and expect sales to keep up? Five years ago there weren’t many options in that segment. That game has changed as Honda, Ford, Mercedes, have all entered the compact/hot hatch (which Sub doesn’t do anymore) go-fast arena.
I think it’s just an investment issue. Other manufacturers have offerings that are more reliable, cost similar, meet emissions standards, have solid drive-ability, and make more peak power. They’ve been using the same base engine for a decade now, likely just to save money.
