Isn’t that YouTube in a nutshell?

I still don’t see how PC storefront exclusivity is anti-consumer in any way shape or form. Console gamers don’t lose their shit this badly when PS4 or Xbox One has exclusivity and that requires an actual purchase. It’s fucking embarrassing really.

I’m not suggesting that it’s always ok. In fact, I would argue it usually isn’t. But in this case. THIS CASE. She isn’t trying to be offensive, and going after her like she is just because people want to be pissed about blackface is wrong.

I’m starting to feel like we’re getting to a point where nothing is allowed. I mean, the context here, for example. She isn’t making fun of black people in any way. She’s trying to remain true to the character, who happens to be black. It would be one thing if she had done something deliberately offensive, but she’s

Isn’t that something of a facile position though?

Context really does matter. There is a difference between making fun of/mocking by imitation and imitation out of respect and admiration. The kid who dressed up as MLK for a class project to dress up as a historical figure who is a role model and you admire is a perfect example. I get how it was done in the past and

Agree, the cosplayer here, did quite a good job on the makeup, if nobody would say, I would think she has black skin. Here, in eastern Europe, we have maybe about 1% of black people in the population, it’s not easy to try to appear as them, because there simply aren’t many occasions to interact with such persons, in

Alright, I’m going to do my best to wade into a particularly tricky subject here without offending anyone. Wish me luck...

I was visiting the hometown once as an adult and asked a guy at the supermarket if they had chorizo. From his reaction, I think he heard it as “I will  murder all you care about.”

EA is the worst.

No disputing that, I’m disputing how a streamer accepting money actively makes the world a worse place. is this the digital trail of tears? are they jacking up the price of insulin?

Do you mean the native advertising that wasn’t clearly labeled? That’s called payola/plugola and its against the law in the advertising world. You know when you watch a game review on YouTube and the host goes “Nintendo sent me this game to review” - that’s a legal requirement. EA is skirting the rules and throwing

Fact is I don’t give a crap if someone was paid to promote something. EA spent the money, that guy made the money. Good for him. If you, or myself, or anyone had that same opportunity, I’d imagine we’d all do it. I certainly would. Of course the bottom line is that jealousy is obvious to spot. So have at it.

Or low blood sugars that caused him to pass out, or narcolepsy, or maybe he just fell asleep like many people do while driving, except those people just straight up crash into something and if it didn’t cause any catastrophic injuries they wake up from the crash.

Well, maybe he died quietly, like my grandpa.  Not screaming like the other passengers in the car.

Everyone is ragging on this dude, but I kind of feel like he just accidentally fell asleep on a long, boring drive and didn’t die because the car was driving itself.

The “it will kill you” aspect is a pretty crap motivator to anyone for whom smoking is a completely normal facet of everyday life. If your parents smoke and their parents smoke and they all live to be “old” (as estimated by a teenager), the risk is going to seem negligible compared to the social and neurological pressu

Wait till he finds out that the guy fucked his mom too.

Except Bethesda has said the DLC’s will be free to all players and they will make money from selling cosmetic-only items. No season pass to buy and no “pay-to-win” scheme. Honestly, the amount of hate and misinformation this game gets is astounding. If you don’t like it, just leave it alone. Sheesh.

I have started to slow down my playthrough, reading and searching areas more thoroughly, and even though I may miss an item here or there I have to say there are a LOT of mysteries as to what happened to this area and why. The Vault-Tec University made me have even more questions.
