RECTANGLE SHAPE or at least a flat bottom for chrissakes, the current design is the worst console to physically interact with ever.

nah, a water park where the water IS bacardi :)

Yeah, it’s pretty clear he’s born to make new ideas and new worlds and new stories. But at least he did an incredible job with MGS making every game feel very different

With as good as NMS has become, and the harsh whipping they got when it underdelivered at launch... and how fucking good this looks, I am hyped. I don’t even know what you do in the game but it looks like another solid dicking-around simulator.

I’m just glad to know he’s doing an original IP and not just Death Stranding 2. And I say this as someone who absolutely loved Death Stranding. Kojima blew me away with his first new idea in decades and I’d love to see that happen again.

Piracy rules. Pirates are literally better curators of content than any of the companies that actually own it. Streaming is just renting. I feel bad for people who have built up paid digital libraries.

Man I am SO glad that I’m slow at games, thus I’m still finishing Starfield and haven’t jumped back into cyberpunk yet. But now I’ll be able to get the 2.0 stuff, the dlc, and these latest updates when I finally do that! Honestly most excited about the boss fight improvements. Smasher was a pushover in my playthrough

Honestly they’re just about the only company I trust to just make the best game possible in this framework. I was recently revisiting GTA V with my son, who’s never played any of these, and was astounded at how well realized the world is. Still a far more solid feeling open world than any game made since, and that

fwiw I played it free on game pass but liked it so much I bought it on steam a year later when it was on sale - cool thing is they massively updated it since that first time so it runs and looks and plays better

Actually you’re wrong

Sable is more like halfway between Journey and Zelda. There’s a lot more interactivity than the former, similar traversal & gliding mechanics as the latter, and a really big open world to explore and lots of quests to do and puzzles to solve. Just no combat, which rocks. Also the soundtrack by Japanese Breakfast is

Really should emphasize how delightful the music is. Stands out in a good way from most AC games.

That’s a resolution bump from the base PS4, which the vast majority of PS4 players own.

Well, the game came out months before the PS5 launch and looked/played fantastically on PS4 and had already been delayed so it’s no wonder they released it on the older platform. The game already plays at 60fps with a resolution bump on ps5 too.

Transistor is my favorite from them but fwiw the aesthetic and vibe do a lot of heavy lifting for my tastes.

Can you elaborate on performance? What kind of fps were you getting on what hardware?

I’m feeling pretty intimidated but I’d love to play this game at some point. I just know jack about D&D and don’t really care about tabletop games etc but this video game just looks incredible.

Gamers are such babies man.

To be fair, there are some elements of Starfield that I love. I mean, I am 55 hours into it after all. I know some masochist gamers will play things they hate but I don’t.

lol cry about it, bitch
