At Indy it was cheap and so were all the local amenities. Austin is gouging the fans. Just saying.

WEC while a great series will NEVER be equal to F1. Or vice versa. And Austria (among other circuits) proved that the attendence problem is more the promoter/circuit's failing than the series. jmo. (and i loathe the modern hybrid, endurance regs in F1.)

I wonder if the lapse in French grand prix would make up for the low amount of fans that used to go there... great track. In the middle of nowhere though.

Considering the crowds didn't show for the last Hockenheimring grand prix, I don't care. A shame since Germany derserves a GP but with the new owners of the Green Hell dragging their feet, well... letting Austria and Belgium steal their thunder for a year and see how the public reacts may be the best medicine!
