Self supporting with the money they make from a television show that they have to keep interesting by continuing to have children.

The whole "self-supporting" schtick is their most noxious lie, IMO.

lolwtf, are all their sponsorships going to get taken away if she stops shitting out kids or what?

I was legitimately shocked as I continued reading your post to find it wasn't sarcastic. I don't see how that subtle line affects the story whatsoever, and HtTYD isn't exactly historically correct in its portrayal of vikings (big shocker).

You *do* realize that IRL Vikings were not animated cartoon characters, right?

You're just a lovely human being. And you clearly do have issues with gay people and their so-called "gay agenda" A quick look at your comment history says as much:

You really shouldn't use words you don't understand why criticizing things. Retcon is short for retroactive continuity and means altering previously established cannon to better fit the continuity of the work. In order for the revelation of Dumbledore's sexuality to be a retcon, he'd have to have been established as

I don't know how to break this to you, but: writers make up everything about the characters they write. They don't just transcribe the events they observe through a magic mirror.

Uh oh, We've got a "IT WASN"T IN THE BOOK" dipshit on our hands. This cumsack is going to let one line in a movie ruin his whole year. I laugh at you.

Whoopi Goldberg's story about seeing Nichelle Nichols on Star Trek for the first time is classic. And the fact that Dr. King specifically asked her to reconsider quitting the series is . . .profound.

What's even worse; they made Toothless *black* instead of the original green book version. Goddamned affirmative action!

Recommended both for the sentiment and the excellent use of the word 'twatwaffle'.

I love you

And a throwaway line of a character having an identity that isn't straight isn't "activism", it's representative of real life. I hate it when folks get all huffy that anyone who isn't straight and white is in a movie for political reasons! (I say this with an awareness of tokenism, etc. and all those problems, but

"I have my doubts that any viking would admit to being gay, even under his breath."

How is it a change? There was no indication he was ever heterosexual or really any sexual orientation. This is just a quick exploration of an aspect of the character that wasn't defined for the viewers yet.

The writer is gay, why shouldn't he make it how he wants it? Write your own fucking movie twatwaffle.

I like that you also called this 'retarded'

Obligatory:

I don't want to have to explain to my child what a closet is! We're a chest of drawers family!
