Am I the only one who is troubled by the replacement of the term ‘the free press’ with variations of the media, mass-media, mainstream media etc. Somehow “Trump attacks mainstream media” does not have the same impact as “Trump attacks the free press”.

I always make sure when I buy radishes that the greens are in good condition - as soon as they are in the house I cut them off - give them a good wash - they can hold a lot of grit - and stir fry them with shallots or garlic - and either spread that on bread or add mushrooms and toss with a little bit of pasta.

Can the chick pea water be used for making egg-less mayonnaise - also I tend to soak and cook my own chick peas from scratch - is that liquid also usable or is there something in the canned version?

I make hummus with mine all the time - very easy - if it gets too thick just add a little bit of water from the soaked chick peas.
